WEYERHAUSER GRANTS
Partners In Education in partnership with Weyerhaeuser, offers the teachers of Craven County Schools the Weyerhaeuser Mini Grant program. This program is for hands on activities relating to a math and/or science learning activity that the teacher most likely would have purchased using their own funds. Donated funding from Weyerhaeuser allows teachers to be awarded up to $100 during each grant cycle (four grant cycles in one school year).
Teachers: The more detail you provide regarding your activity and how you will use the supplies, the easier it is for the committee to evaluate your request. In contrast to PIE grants, requests for consumables are allowed.
Grant requests that include school name will not be considered.
In terms of technology, all items should be on the preferred district list (for service and conformity). For a list of those items, please follow this link.
